कोसुंभो जिह राओ, अब्भंतरदो य सुहुम-रत्तो य।
एवं सुहुम-सराओ, सुहुम-कसाओ त्ति णायव्वो।।१४।।SSu

 

क्षीण रंग सा शेष रहा,  सूक्ष्म सदा मन-राग।
सूक्ष्म शेष कषाय सा, सूक्ष्म मुनि गुण भाग॥२.३२.१४.५५९॥

 

कुसुम्भ के हल्के रंग की तरह जिनके अंतरंग मे केवल सूक्ष्म राग शेष रह गया है, उन मुनियों को सूक्ष्म–सराग या  गुणवर्ती (दसवाँ ) जानना चाहिये।

 

Just as a Kusumbha flower has a slight tinge of reddish colour, similarly a monk who has reached this tenth stage of spiritual development retains a slight tinge of attachment internally, Hence this stage is called suksma – Kasaya or suksma-samparaya, i.e., the stage of slight attachment. (559)
