अशरण भावना Reflection of Unprotectiveness Refugelessness
वित्तं पसवो य णाइओ, तं बालं सरणं त्ति मण्णई।
एए मम तेसिं वा अहं, णो ताणं सरणं ण विज्जई।।५।।
जो धन पशु की शरण ले, ज्ञानशून्य अंजान।
ये मेरे मै आपका, शरणागत ना मान॥२.३०.५.५०९॥
अज्ञानी जीव, धन, पशु तथा ज्ञात को अपना रक्षक या शरण मानता है कि ये मेरे है और मै इनका हूँ।
The ignorant being (Ajnani-jiva) deems cattle wealth and fellow being (janti varga/caste fellows) as his protectors or protection (refuge). (He deems) “they are mine and I am theirs in actuality” they are neither (his) protectors nor (his) protection (refuge). (509)
संगं परिजाणमि, सल्लं पि य उद्धरामि तिविहेणं ।
गुत्तीओ समिईओ, मज्झं ताणं च सरणं च ॥6॥
संगं परिजानामि, शल्यमपि चोद्धरामि त्रिविधेन ।
गुप्तयः समितयः, मम त्राणं च शरणं च ॥6॥
तजूं परिग्रह, मायादि, तजता त्रिविध शल्य।
गुप्ति और समितियाँ हैं, मेरी रक्षक शरण्य ॥2.30.6.510॥
मै परिग्रह को समझ बूझकर छोड़ता हूँ। माया, मिथ्यात्व व निदान इन तीन शल्यों को भी मन–वचन–काय से दूर करता हूँ। तीन गुप्तिया और पाचँ समितियाँ ही मेरे लिये रक्षक और शरण है।
I know that they are all (the forms of) attachments; I shall remove those defects knows as salya from my mind, speech and body; the guptis and the samitis are my protectors and shelters. (510)
