जेण तच्चं विबुज्झेज्ज, जेण चित्तं णिरुज्झदि।
जेण अत्ता विसुज्झेज्ज, तं णाणं जिणसासणे।।८।।SSu

 

जहाँ तत्व का ज्ञान हो, रहता चित्त निरोध।
आत्मा जिसकी शुद्ध हो, जिनशासन का बोध॥२.१९.८.२५२॥

 

जिसमें तत्तव का ज्ञान होता है, चित्त का निरोध होता है व आत्मा विशुद्ध होती है, उसी को जिनशासन मे ज्ञान कहा गया है।

 

According to the teachings of Jina, knowledge is that which helps to understand the truth, controls the mind and purifies the soul. (252)

 

२५३ जेण रागा विरज्जेज्ज, जेण सेएसु रज्जदि।
जेण मिती पभावेज्ज, तं णाणं जिणसासणे।।९।।SSu

 

जीव राग जिससे विमुख, बढती श्रेय कमान।
बढे मित्रता भाव जहाँ, जिन शासन का ज्ञान॥२.१९.९.२५३॥

 

जिससे जीव राग से विमुख होता है, श्रेय व माैत्रीभाव बढता है वही जिनशासन के अनुसार सम्यग्ज्ञान है।

 

According to the teachings of Jina, it is through knowledge that ties of attachment are severed, attraction towards auspiciousness is developed and which enhances the thoughts and attitudes of compassion or friendship towards all living-beings. (253)

 

संसय-विमोह-विब्भय-विविज्जियं, अप्प-पर-सरूवस्स।
गहणं सम्मं णाणं, सायार-मणेय-भेयं तु।।१।।SSu

 

विमोह विभ्रम संशयरहित, रूप का स्व पर ज्ञान।
भेद अनेक विकल्पक है, ग्रहण हो सम्यक्ज्ञान॥४.३८.१.६७४॥

 

संशय, विमोह और विभ्रम इन तीन मिथ्याज्ञाने से रहित अपने और पर के स्वरुप को ग्रहण करना सम्यग्ज्ञान है। यह वस्तुस्वरुप का यथार्थ निश्चय कराता है। इसलिये इसे साकार अर्थात् सविकल्पक (निश्चयात्मक) कहा गया है। इसके अनेक भेद है।

 

Such a grasping of the nature of self and that of other things, as is free from doubt, mistake and uncertainty is called the right knowledge; it is of a determinate form and is of various 
types. (674)

 

अन्यूनमनतिरिक्तम्, याथातथ्यम् विना च विपरीतात्।
नि:संदेह वेद यदाहुस्तज्ज्ञानमागमिन:॥४२॥RKS

 

न्यून, अधिक, विपरीतरहित, वस्तुस्वरुप का ज्ञान।
ज्यू का त्यू संदेहरहित, कहते सम्यग्ज्ञान॥२.१.४२॥

 

जो वस्तु के स्वरुप को न्यूनतारहित, अधिकतारहित, विपरीततारहित और संदेहरहित जैसा का तैसा जानता है उसको आगम के ज्ञाता सम्यग्ज्ञान कहते हैं।

 

Knower of agam called Right knowledge which reveals the nature of things neither less, nor more, nor opposite, doubtless but as it is.
