त्रिरत्न Three Jewels

– सम्यग्दर्शन Right Faith

– सम्यग्ज्ञान Right Knowledge

– सम्यग्चरित्र Right Conduct

 

सम्यग्दर्शनज्ञानचारित्राणि मोक्षमार्ग: ॥१॥TS

 

मोक्ष मार्ग के लिये, तीनों का हो साथ।
सम्यग्दर्शन ज्ञान भी, सम्यक् चारित्र हाथ॥१.१॥

 

सम्यग्दर्शन, सम्यग्ज्ञान व सम्यक् चारित्र तीनों मिलकर मोक्ष का मार्ग है।

Right faith, right knowledge and right conduct together constitute the path of liberation.

 

दंसण-णाण-चारित्ताणि, मोक्खमग्गो त्ति सेविदव्वाणि।
साधूहि इदं भणिदं, तेहिं दु बंधो व मोक्खो वा।।२।।SSu

 

दर्शन, ज्ञान चरित्र सब, मोक्ष मार्ग स्वभाव।
बंधन समझो मोक्ष के, शुभ व अशुभ के भाव॥२.१६.२.१९३॥

 

सम्यक् ज्ञान, दर्शन, चारित्र तथा तप को जिनदेव ने मोक्ष का मार्ग कहा है। वह निश्चय व व्यवहार दो प्रकार का है। शुभ और अशुभ भाव मोक्ष के मार्ग नही है। इन भावो से तो कर्म बंधन होता है।

 

The right faith, the right knowledge and the right conduct together constitute the path of liberation; this is the path to be followed. The Jinendra Dev have said that if it is followed in the right way it will lead to liberation and otherwise it will lead to bondage. (193)

 

नादंसणिस्स नाणं, नाणेण विणा न हुन्ति चरणगुणा।
अगुणिस्स नत्थि मोक्खो, नत्थि अमोक्खस्स निव्वाणं।।४।।SSu

 

बिन दर्शन के ज्ञान नहीं, चरित्र नहीं बिन ज्ञान।
बिन चरित्र के मोक्ष नहीं,  बिन मोक्ष न निर्वाण॥२.१७.४.२११॥

 

दर्शन के बिना ज्ञान नही होता। ज्ञान के बिना चारित्र नही होता। चारित्र के बिना मोक्ष नही होता। मोक्ष के बिना निर्वाण नही होता।

 

Without right faith, there cannot be right knowledge; without right knowledge, there cannot be right conduct; without right conduct, there cannot be release from Karmas; without release of Karmas there cannot be nirvana (salvation). (211)

 

 

सद्दृष्टिज्ञानवृत्तानि, धर्मं धर्मेश्वरा विंदु:।
यदीयप्रत्यनीकानि, भवन्ति भवपद्धति:॥३॥RKS

 

सम्यग्दर्शन ज्ञान चरित्र, जिन धर्म का मार्ग।
मिथ्यादर्शन ज्ञान चरित्र, जग भ्रमण का मार्ग॥३॥

 

जिनेश्वर के अनुसार सम्यग्दर्शन, सम्यग्ज्ञान और सम्यक्चारित्र धर्म का मार्ग है इसके विपरीत मिथ्या दर्शन, मिथ्याज्ञान और मिथ्याचारित्र संसार भ्रमण का मार्ग है।

 

Tirthankars have described right faith, right knowledge and right conduct as path to liberation and opposite path of wrong faith, wrong knowledge and wrong conduct leads to continuous transmigration in this world.
