अनित्याशरणसंसारैकत्वान्यत्वाशुच्यास्रवसंवरनिर्जरालोकबोधिदुर्लभधर्मस्वाख्यातत्त्वानुचिन्तनमनुप्रेक्षा:॥७॥TS

अनित्य व अशरण भावना, एकत्व और संसार ।
अन्यत्व, अशुचि, आस्रव भी, संवर, निर्जरा धार॥

लोक, व बोधिदुर्लभ भी, धर्म हो बारम्बार।
चिन्तवन बारह भावना, अनुप्रेक्षा बेड़ापार॥९.७.३०८॥

अनित्य, अशरण, संसार, एकत्व, अन्यत्व, अशुचि, आस्रव, संवर, निर्जरा, लोक, बोधिदुर्लभ और धर्म ये बारह अनुप्रेषित हैं जिनका बार बार चिंतवन करना चाहिए।

One must reflect on following 12 again and again: Impermanence, Helpless, Transmigration, Loneliness, Distinctness, Impurity, Influx, Stoppage, Dissociation, The universe, Rarity of enlightenment, Truth proclaimed by religion

अद्धुव-मसरण-मेगत्त-मण्ण-संसार-लाय-मसुइत्तं।
आसव-संवर-णिज्जर-धम्मं बोधिं च चिंतिज्ज।।२।।SSu

अनित्य, अशरण, एकत्व, अन्य, अपवित्र, लोक, संसार।
आस्रव, संवर, धर्म, निर्जरा, बोधि बारह प्रकार॥२.३०.२.५०६॥

अनित्य, अशरण, एकत्व, अन्यत्व, अपवित्र, लोक, संसार, आस्रव, संवर, धर्म, निर्जरा, बोधि इस बारह भावनाओं का चिन्तवन करना चाहिये।

One should reflect upon twelve reflections, which are:  1. Reflection of Transitoriness; 2. Reflection of unprotectiveness refugelessness; 3. Reflection of mundaneness; 4. Reflection of loneliness; 5. Reflection of separateness; 6. Reflection of impurity; 7. Reflection of inflow of karmas; 8. Reflection of stoppage of karmas; 9. Reflection of shedding off of karmas; 10. Reflection of universe; 11. Reflection of nature of Right path; (Dharma); 12. Reflection of Rarity of enlightenment.(506)
