चतुर्विशति जिन–स्तवन Prayer
उसहादि-जिणवराणं, णाम-णिरुत्तिं गुणाणुकित्तिं च।
काऊण-अच्चिदूण य, तिसुद्धि-पणामो थवो णेओ।।१३।।SSu
ऋषभ आदि तीर्थंकरों, निरुक्त नाम गुणगान।
अर्चना, त्रिशुद्धि वन्दना, चतुर्विशतिस्तव ज्ञान॥२.२७.१३.४२९॥
ऋषभ आदि चौबीस तीर्थंकरों के नामो की स्तुति तथा उनके गुणों का कीर्तन करना, गंध–पुष्प–अक्षतादि से पूजा अर्चना करना, मन वचन काय से शुद्धिपूर्वक प्रणाम करना, चतुर्विशतिस्तव नामक दूसरा आवश्यक है।
The second essential duty (Avasyat) of a saint named ‘Chaturvinsati-stavan’ consists of the etymological explanations (nirukti) of the names of twenty four tirthankar and the obeisance to them with all the purity of mind, speech and body. By means of narrations given or songs sung in their praise (kirtan) and the worship (puja archna) there of with the offerings of incense flower, rice etc. (429)
